 The Owner

Kenny Skar, President of Vincent Tool Technologies, specializing in building custom injection mold bases. He has been in the mold business over 20 years since earning his machining degree from Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC). The life lessons that farm work taught him as a kid helped Kenny develop his passion for machining into a successful entrepreneurship. Kenny enjoys running the company and being involved in the day-to-day challenges and successes. Away from work he enjoys outdoor activities with his family, including waterskiing, wake surfing, snow cross and many other forms of racing. He strives to maintain a flexible culture at Vincent Tool so his employees can enjoy their own families and other interests as much as possible. While pursuing his dream of owning a mold base company, Kenny has worked hard to make a positive imprint on the community. He has served on the CVTC board for 11 years and actively participates in discussions to help ensure the skills taught in the program stay relevant as possible to the jobs in the industry. Kenny encourages youth to explore careers in manufacturing and welcomes local youth to Vincent Tool for tours and education about the machining field. Vincent Tool also offers a scholarship incentive to students entering the machining program. Kenny is a partnership member to the American Mold Builders Association Board of Directors with a strong focus on keeping mold building strong in the USA. Vincent Tool was named Chippewa Valley Economic Development Groups Business of the year in 2016 and Kenny was honored as a CVTC Distinguished Alumni in 2017.
